Anote Ajeluorou graduated from University of Benin, Benin City, where he earned B.A. (Ed) in English and Literature in 1995. he has worked in journalism all his life, starting with the creative writing soft sell magazine Hints in the 1990s. He also worked with The Comet, now rested, from where he joined The Punch and later The Nation before finally settling at The Guardian, where he was Arts Correspondent before becoming its Arts Editor. Mr. Ajeluorou has other creative works awaiting publication that include a poetry collection, Libations for Africa, two prose works, Mena and The Peacekeeper, a novella, Bride of the Infidel, and other children's storybooks.
